Yep, that's exactly what the LIRR trains look like these days. They still have the older ones that you're thinking of that they'll use on weekends more often that have the blue and red seats. I thought maybe when they upgraded the LIRR trains they did the MetroNorth too. There's just something about the piled high luggage with the bag on top (which will go flying the second the train moves), the three people across directly behind, the ethnic diversity... it's totally the format for the LIRR versions of "One to Grown On".
