Bay Ridge Union Center for the Arts holds their Open House and Studio Sale on JUNE 9th, from 1 to 4 PM
The Bay Ridge Union Center for the Arts (BRUCA) will be holding their Open House on June 9th from 1 to 4pm. Prospective students can visit the BRUCA studio, meet instructors, and sign up for summer classes. In addition to the exceptional clay classes for adults and children BRUCA is known for, this summer it will be adding new classes to their schedule: wheel-throwing for older children ages 9+, drawing for children ages 6 to 9, and woodworking. Jacqui Roytman will again offer her unique SNAP to Grow program, where younger children can combine science and art for great fun and learning.
In addition, handmade pottery will be available for sale. All pieces for sale have been made and fired by artists in the BRUCA studio.
The BRUCA studio is located at 8101 Ridge Boulevard. For more information, please visit www.bruca.org or contact Program Director Ed Huml at edhuml@bruca.org.
